Prayer Updates from Bangkok

We have been able to hire two more Thai women this past month. God has provided in time and we accept them in faith of continual provision.

Two more Uzbek women return home this month. This will be the last flight for awhile so we praise God we were able to assist them.

NightLight is considering opening a training program for women still in prostitution to learn job skills in beauty and baking. Please pray for wisdom in how to go about this and for God to help us select the right women for this opportunity. Please also pray for funding for this training.

One of the male foreign traffickers of an African victim we cared for and repatriated in 2019 is now a fugitive and seeking revenge for being charged with sex trafficking. He is targeting NightLight by making allegations against us to reporters as well as making intimidating phone calls to various staff and family members. Please pray that this man is apprehended and the attempts to discredit NightLight and staff be stopped.

Board Seeking Treasurer

Since IBM announced that they would be leaving Dubuque, one of our members was forced to make a decision. Andrew Christiansen, our current Treasurer, has decided to retain his job at IBM and relocate to Missouri. That leaves an opening on the board for a Treasurer. To fill this position, you will need [1] to be a member of the church, [2] able to use accounting software to keep the church books current, [3] generate monthly status reports, and [4] attend monthly Board Meetings. If you think you can lend a hand please contact either our Moderator, Ron Brass [563-588-2710] or the Pastor [563-582-5088].
