A Challenge for the New Year

The start of Advent [11.29.20] swept us in to a new Church year! The focus gospel for this year is that belonging to Mark. I would suggest that you somehow incorporate a reading plan of this gospel for 2021. Perhaps make a plan to read it through 12 times, once a month. You could read from alternate translations each month. One month read from your primary translation, perhaps the NIV, and the next read from The Message, then the next the NASB. Be creative. Enjoy your time in Mark’s amazing story of Jesus. That’s the goal. Read, meditate, pray and be reformed by a creative narrator.

The Church’s Annual Meeting is set for THIS SUNDAY, JANUARY 31, 2021. It will be held following the worship service. We don’t recommend members with compromised health situations attend. It is more important to be safe. If you have any questions please send them to a member of the Board and the question will be raised at the meeting. Blessings!
