Our Daily Bread

The December, January, February issue of “Our Daily Bread” is now available for free in the foyer. This handy guide to the Bible allows the reader to pause each day and think upon the things of God. It is a simple devotional that will bring you blessings. 


Game Night

January Movie

The January movie will be “Unbroken: Path to Redemption” The movie will start at 6:30 on Friday, January 11. More information to come. 


Weekly Scripture Meditation:

We are inviting the Church as a whole to participate in reading and meditating on the lectionary texts for the upcoming Sunday. The texts for Sunday, January 13, 2019 are as follows: Luke 3:15-17, 21-22; Isaiah 43:1-7; Psalm 29; Acts 8:14-17. The verse in bold will be the sermon text for that Sunday. 


Martin Luther King, Birthday Celebration [1.21.2019]

Join in the celebration by coming to the breakfast on January 21, 2019 at the Grand River Center. The breakfast begins at 7:00 a.m. and the celebration begins at 7:30 a.m. Our speaker will be Vincent Bacote, Ph.D. He is a theology professor at Wheaton College, Ethics Center Director, ordained minister, speaker, author and bass player. His talk is “An Antidote for America’s Agitation. $25 for adults, $10 for youth 12 and under. Register by January 14, 2019 at www.dbqschools.org/facesandvoices.
