60 Days of Prayer: World Mission Offering

These prayers come from sixty servants and staff of International Ministries. Their inspiration is John 4:14, “But whoever drinks from the water that I will give will never be thirsty again. The water that I give will become in those who drink it a spring of water that bubbles up into eternal life.”

[9.15] Lord, please comfort and heal children who suffer from pains both big and small; from malnutrition, birth defects, injuries and neglect. Rovaughna Richardson, Ghana.

[9.16] Jesus, help us to use the many gifts you have given us to bring others closer to you. May we be always ready to share the love that you have given to us with those who do not yet know it. Brian & Lynette Smith, Haiti.

[9.17] May your living water in Haiti purify and transform our hearts from non-love, apathy, cynicism and bitterness to your way of love for all, friends and enemies alike. Nancy & Stephen James, Haiti.

[9.18] Father God, fill us with your living water that we might come alongside others and pour your Spirit into them. Stacy & Tim Reese, Haiti.

[9.19] Thank you, Father, for opening doors for the gospel in Hungary. May each of us eagerly share with those who are thirsty that Jesus is living water. Amanda & Jon Good, Hungary.

[9.20] Thank you for the gift of your precious children with learning and behavioral challenges. Awaken the areas of their brains that are not functioning as they should and strengthen each one in mind, body and spirit. Carmella Jones, Hungary.

[9.21] Holy Spirit, please help us love God and others. Larry & Rebecca Stanton, Hungary.

[9.22] Lord, increase awareness of thirst for life with you. Fill us with true life that is forever vital and new. David & Joyce Reed, Iberoamerica and the Caribbean.

News from NightLight

Prayers are bringing breakthrough! The month of August was a busy and fruitful month. It is exciting to see women coming out of prostitution, addictions, and homelessness after years of building relationships and being a loving, helping presence in the red light district. We are so grateful for all the prayers that cover us, that bring intervention to the women, and spur us on in this work.

PRAISE

We praise God for the four Thai women who joined NightLight’s program in August. Three of these came through relationships built in the beauty salon in the outreach center. One of these was experiencing increasingly frequent episodes of alcohol poisoning. She is now free of alcohol and doing great at NightLight!

We also praise God for two international trafficked women who joined NightLight in August.

Three Africans returned home in August with our assistance.

Your contributions to the World Mission Offering go directly to support this mission in Thailand. Thanks!
