Our Beliefs

The Mission [what we’re doing]

Our mission is to love God, love one another, love those who don’t know Jesus, and to lead them to Him.

The Vision [what we’re becoming]

Our vision is to be a biblically functioning community of believers with a passion for:

Exploring faith

Embracing diversity, and

Encouraging hearts.

The Core Values [what’s our DNA]

Spirit-filled teaching of the Bible is the catalyst for transformation in individual lives [Romans 12.7; 2 Timothy 3.16-17; James 1.23-25].

All people matter to God and therefore they ought to matter to us [Luke 5.30-32; Luke 15; Matthew 18.14].

The local church should be racially and ethnically diverse [Matthew 28.19; Revelation 7.9-10; 1 Corinthians 12.13; Galatians 3.28].

The church is most effective in its ministry of reconciliation when it combines cultural relevance with biblical principles [1 Corinthians 9.19-23].

Excellence honors God and inspires people [Colossians 3.17; Malachi 1.6-14; Proverbs 27.17].

The church functions optimally when it operates as a united team of servants with men and women stewarding their Spiritual gifts [1 Corinthians 12 & 14; Romans 12; Ephesians 4; Psalm 133.1].

Love for Jesus Christ is demonstrated in loving relationships and actions in every aspect of life [1 Corinthians 13; Nehemiah 3; Luke 10.1; John 13.34-35].

Churches are most effective in advancing the cause of Christ when led by men and women with leadership gifts [Nehemiah 1 & 2; Romans 12.8; Acts 6.2-5].

Spiritual growth happens best in small groups [Luke 6.12-13; Acts 2.44-47].

Full devotion to Jesus Christ in all areas of life is the calling of every believer [Ephesians 4.25-26; Hebrews 12.4; Philippians 1.6].
